Bio

Mahadia is the Executive Director of the Tanzania Data Lab (dLab) while also lecturing at the University of Dar es Salaam. Her consultancy experience extends to international organizations such as GIZ, IFAD, the World Bank, UNFPA, Cambridge Education, Community Systems Foundation (CSF), and the Web Foundation.

Throughout her professional journey, Mahadia has spearheaded over 100 data-driven innovation and research projects, trained over 5,000 individuals, and played a seminal role in developing data science curricula for institutions in Africa and beyond.
