Malanga Kennedy Ndenga is a senior lecturer of Kirinyaga University where he teaches, carries out research, and mentors junior researchers in Computer Science. Malanga has research interests in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data science, and Empirical Software Engineering with a focus on developing solutions for societal problems. He has published several journal and conference articles in these areas.
He has previously held leadership portfolios of chairman of the department of Information Technology, acting Dean of the school of Computer Science & Information Technology, and acting Director of the directorate of e-Learning while at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology. Malanga is also a consultant of Digital Space Consultants (https://digitalspace.co.ke). He carried out his doctoral research at the Laboratoire d’Informatique Avancée de Saint-Denis (LIASD) of the University of Paris 8 (France) where he was awarded a PhD. in Computer Science.
